My journey at Podar World College started in 2019 as a student enrolled in the Business and Management Undergraduate program by LSE. As a student with little to no previous exposure to this dynamic field, I remember being overwhelmed by the complexity and breadth of knowledge required. However, familiarising myself with the nuances of this course while navigating challenging concepts was made significantly easier by the unwavering support and guidance of the faculty.
In my opinion, one of the most valuable aspects of the course was the opportunity to apply theoretical concepts to real-world scenarios through comprehensive case studies.
It helped me develop business acumen that has been a critical tool at every stage of my professional journey so far. One such instance was during my Masters program, when I worked on an industry project that involved developing a brand strategy pitch for an international luxury brand. Thanks to my solid academic foundation, my strategy received recognition from both my faculty and peers, leading to its selection as one of the top 3 pitches for the module.
My degree by UOL LSE served as the cornerstone for my future career in the luxury brand management industry. Studying such a nuanced course not only provided me with a
competitive edge but also laid a strong foundation that I can now leverage to my advantage.
As a newcomer in a fiercely competitive and ever-changing industry, I can confidently say that the BSc Business and Management Degree from UOL LSE has given me the right head start for my career.

“For me, Podar as an institution has been a part of my life since I was 7. I don’t believe there is any other institution that would have been such a fitting end to my preliminary education than Podar World College. Currently, I am pursuing a career in Data science, but this decision was not made early on, it took a lot of talking and figuring out to reach this conclusion. Throughout the very first and second years of college, I knew I was in the right field, but I wasn’t sure as to what to make a life in. As a student studying BSc Economic and Finance, my options were vast, I could have taken up a career in research, analysis or even in the many branches of finance. However, none of them interested me the way I wished it would. Here is when I realised how grateful I was to have the faculty I did. They hold an abundance of knowledge in their respective subjects, and having taught such a vast majority of students before me, they were prepared to answer all of my questions, and even introduced me to the correct seniors to talk to. Which is when I found data science. The endless application it held, and how it was fitting for the Math, Statistics, Economics & finance that I had learned through my degree. The faculty has done such a great job explaining complicated concepts and really making sure that we understood the idea behind these concepts, and not just what the exam required us to know that today, even though I have to learn new coding languages, they never seem intimidating or hard, because it is now only the application that changes, the concepts have been drilled in me from the very beginning.
Through college, I was also able to do an internship in Finance. This particularly helped me realise just how much I was not made to do it in the long run. However, as another obvious and important plus, I did learn a lot of the practical application of my curriculum, and to this day, has helped me in investing, and understanding how the markets are affecting everything around me. After my graduation in 2021, I took up a 6 months internship at SBI Mutual Fund. Here, while I worked around sound professionals, I realized just how important my degree has been. I was able to match the economic understanding of the analysts there, and was able to cope extremely fast with things I did not know. This degree has really paved the way to a holistic understanding of how everything works. I look at everything I have had the opportunity to do to this day, and really feel like it has all been a set of the puzzle pieces finally coming together, which inadvertently, helped me reach my decision to take up Data science as a career.
Here is when, I would like to add that apart from academics, the college has always been extremely supportive of my extra-curricular interests and always presented a platform to further my talents and interests. May it be Sitar, Bharatnatyam, or even Public Speaking! I have been grateful to have been given the opportunity to host the Graduation ceremonies, along with other events, on multiple occasions, and that experience has made me more confident than I can put down in words. It was this exposure that prepared me to take on the role of the President of Podar World College’s Rotaract Club. As the president, I had the chance to meet so many new people, got to interact and connect with all my juniors, make a more lasting bond with my teachers, and most of all taught me how to handle an array of situations that I now face in the real world.
Now, almost one year after graduating, and seeing the life of so many of my classmates, and seniors, I am glad that I made the decision to study here. I realised only recently just how instrumental the three years of college were. The curriculum, faculty and academic atmosphere are something that I will always remain grateful for. To anybody reading this, you can choose what to make of your college years, so no matter where you are, choose thoughtfully.”

Dear Ma’am,
It fills my heart with pride and gratitude as I write it.
“My journey with Podar has been one of the most vibrant experiences of my life. The adept knowledge of the faculty have helped mold and sharpen my intellect with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The rigor of the course structure and curriculum has provided me an extensive understanding of the core subjects and prepared me to be industry ready. The students and staff are an extended family of mine and have had a positive impact on my growth. The degree awarded serves as a solid platform and foundation for further studies and a robust career in my field of choice.”

Ms. Aditi Singh
Year III – B.Sc Economics
Dear Ma’am,
I fondly remember my starting few days as a fresher at Podar World College back in 2013, esurient for knowledge, guidance and support. All of which have been so generously provided for. Be it by means of classroom assistance or the innumerable doubt solving sessions, not to forget the ever so kind and caring words of encouragement.
The institution plays more of a family than just a place I seek academic guidance from. All members have been of immense help both academically and as being on the whole. It is a privilege to be able to pursue such a prestigious course in the comfort of home. I am currently in my last year and the journey so far has completely transformed my perspective of the subject and the world we live in, the kind of clarity and command gained is unmatched.

Taniya Bukalsariya
Msc. Student at University Of Warwick.
PODAR has been nurturing my future since 2009. This place has grown me and molded me into a person I happen to admire now. I did my IBDP and my graduation here. I spent 5 of my growing years here and I would not change a thing about it.
Podar is not just an education center but also a family. I would like to share an incident to further explain that; after completing my IBDP. I admitted myself into another education center offering the University of London International Programmes. The other education center was fantastic but however it was NOT PODAR. Hence leading to me transferring myself back to Podar World College. Here there is no favoritism or biases, every teacher has an eye on every student’s move. And not just the teachers but also the Dean, Dr.Vandana Lulla is equally invested in each student’s progress!
Teachers like Sonia & Gitanjalee Maam and Chandresh sir are very friendly and speak the student’s language but despite the comfort level, students highly respect them and follow their every advice. Furthermore, faculty like Sunita & Aarti Maam help the students unwind even emotionally! I still remember my first day after I got myself transferred back, I was so nervous and felt socially unstable. That is when Aati Maam held my hand and boosted my confidence and helped me make an impact on my class. Likewise I cannot even describe the countless numbers of time Sunita Maam has given me her own childlike treatment. Going through every little detail with me right from my subject selection and registration procedures to my VISA application procedures and recommendation letters for my University.
Also I would like to add, that in the past 5 years it’s not just me that has grown and improved. But I have also witnessed Podar as an institute to improve technologically and infrastructurally! The most amazing part of this institute is that it never gives up! It believes in making itself and its students change for the better constantly.
I will always owe a great proportion of my success to Podar!

Sameer Mehta
Sameer has done IGCSE and IBDP from Podar International school .He didn’t want to get into the local environment of education. Though there were many competing private universities here, he chose UOLIP mainly because of the content of the course. The deep analysis and the need to broaden ones horizon during the essential academic years, caught his eye within this programme. Also the vast choices of subjects offered in each group with equal depth was very interesting for him. Also the fact that he could study such a course in his hometown at a fraction of the cost was the icing on the cake. He persuaded B.Sc in Economics and Management from Podar World College.
